Solar AC/Refrigeration with electricity co-generation (NOT PV or absorption)
Friday, February 19, 2016
Solar (pending patent) is a KIT to be added to new/sold AC/Refrigeration units with minimal changes. SOLAIR generates AC/Refrigeration via a modified Sterling engine and simultaneously co-generate electricity with 24/7 working via thermal storage. Cool refrigerated gas from the refrigeration unit enter the modified Sterling engine, via a one-way valve, it heats up, expands producing work. This work is used to generate electricity. As the pistons go up and down, the hotter refrigerated gas is pressurized, leaving the cylinders via a second one-way valve. The hotter refrigerated gas passes through a thermal storage tank, leaving the excess of energy that it is used at night. The refrigerated gas is further cool down, returning to the refrigeration unit (without passing in the compressor)
