Vindl is a place to share and store all of your favourite online videos with friends – a library for those YouTube clips that have moved you to laughter, to tears or simply those that are too good to be watched alone. With a look and feel inspired by Instagram and a functionality drawing parallels to Pinterest, the user is met with a feeling of familiarity upon opening the platform for the first time. We live in a fast-paced disposable world. It’s a world that sees videos appear for fleeting moments in news feeds and disappear as quickly into the abyss of old news. Every so often though, a video comes along that force us in to pausing our busy lives to call a friend over to share it with us. It’s these videos that inspired the creation of Vindl. They deserve a platform dedicated to them. A home free from memes and selfies. If you love videos, but are tired of scrolling through mountains of “I’ve got the best bf in the world #luckygirl” to get to them, then Vindl should be your next stop. It’s currently only available on iOS, but will be coming to your desktop and Android very soon.
