DeepAffects is an emotional intelligence analysis engine that measures the effect emotional intelligence has on team dynamics, and provides emotional analytics that serve as the basis of insights to improve performance and satisfaction across organizations, projects, and teams. Using data from text, video and audio files in existing channels such as collaboration tools and project management software, models are crafted using Neural Management Methodology. Users receive outputs on a dashboard that has optional views of Project or Team focus. In the Project view, team leaders can identify the emotional status of their projects, grouping them into stages of Forming, Storming, or Performing. This allows the project manager to see around the corner for each project or task; as tension builds among team members, there’s an opportunity to address it before the task goes off-track. In the Team view, DeepAffects also allows measures of Happiness, Trust, and Conflicts. These analytics reveal hidden insights that typically aren’t evident until team dynamics, employee morale, communications (and often productivity) are severely compromised.
