Beetbot

Create playlists from multiple music providers

Wednesday, May 6, 2015

Beetbot is an application that allows users to create playlists from multiple music providers including Youtube, Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, and more. Because users have songs/playlists on many different music services, Beetbot aims to consolidate all these providers, combine their best qualities, and add additional functionality to them. Users simply have to create a playlist, search for a song (or directly enter in a song/video URL), and add it to their playlist. Songs can then be autoplayed, repeated, shuffled, and downloaded in mp3 format. In addition, users can view the top lists of the day, copy any existing playlist from Youtube or Spotify, and add songs to them from any music service. Features such as following users and searching for other playlists will be released soon. A (slightly old) quick demo video can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQnXRhIbbls.
