We are a start-up that connects independent interior designers with clients across the country and allows users and designers a chance to show off their homes or portfolios. We want to make interior design accessible and affordable to all. Users are encouraged to post their own design stories and create lookbooks of designs they're inspired by. They can also browse our design blog for affordable home decor solutions. We want to make Decor Design convenient and profitable for designers. While other sites charge a steep annual fee for designers to list their services, Decor Design only takes a small cut from each booking. Designers can post customizable packages based on their services or specialities, and can post their own portfolios. Services can be rendered online through consultations or in-person. Payment is done entirely on-site, ensuring designers are compensated for their work. We are currently in alpha, and users can sign up with the code PAINT47. Beta testing will start once we have the designer portion of the site up. For now, alpha users can post their own design stories or lookbooks (similar to boards on Pinterest). Users that post at least one lookbook or design story by December 15th will be entered to win a free $50 Amazon gift card.
