Swapbox

An electronic locker for shipping items & receiving deliveries

Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Swapbox makes an electronic locker for shipping items and receiving deliveries. The lockers are like electronic post offices and are located in retail stores in urban areas. To use a Swapbox locker for receiving deliveries, a person registers on Swapbox.com. Upon registering, the customer receives a Swapbox shipping address for the Swapbox locker they selected. When shopping online, the customer can then use this new Swapbox shipping address to have purchases sent directly to their selected locker. Swapbox sends a text/email to notify the person of their package's arrival. The Swapbox service solves the problem of missed package deliveries and stolen packages. To use a Swapbox locker for shipping items, a person takes what they want to ship to their local Swapbox locker and enters a few details about the destination address and shipping speed. Upon prompting, they place the item in the locker (the item doesn't even need to be packaged!), and Swapbox takes care of the rest. Swapbox ships via UPS, USPS or FedEx. Swapbox is the fastest, most convenient way to ship anything.
