Geoscribe is a community driven guide to all of the interesting places in the world. Anyone can pick a place, tell what's interesting about it, and share it with the community. The iPhone and Android apps make it fun to discover these places as they surround where you stand. The apps also allow you to add new scrolls to the map as you discover undocumented places.
